It was established in 1948 and serves the purpose of providing a pool of doctor soldiers to Army, Navy and Air Force. The college is managed by the Indian Armed Forces. It is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

AFMC 2019

Every year, the college provides admission to aspiring students willing to pursue undergraduate or graduate courses in the field of medical, dental, nursing etc. with the help of NEET exam scores as the Institute does not have its own exam. Thus the Armed Forces Medical College, through AFMC Entrance 2019, invites applications for MBBS and PG courses offered at AFMC Pune. Every year thousands of students apply for AFMC 2019, but only 130 can make it, out of which 30 seats are for girl only.

AFMC 2019 Eligibility Criteria

In order to appear and seek admission in AC, an aspiring candidate must fulfill the following mentioned eligible criteria. It should be noted that a candidate who fails to fulfill, the given criteria, will have to face rejection at any stage of the admission process.

  1. A Candidate should be a citizen of India; he should provide Indian Nationality Certificate to support it.
  2. A candidate must appear for NEET 2019 in order to be eligible for AFMC 2019 exam.
  3. In order to appear for NEET 2019, the students must fulfill the eligibility criteria given for it, and then only they will be able to appear for NEET 2019.
  4. Candidate should have qualified NEET 2019.
  5. At the time of application, a candidate must be 17 years old in age.
  6. Candidate should have passed 10+2 or the equivalent examination recognized by the state or central board. He/she must score a minimum of 60% marks. Since, the qualifying exam will have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, the candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in these subjects along with English.
  7. The relationship status of the aspiring candidate must be unmarried. Also, the candidate is not allowed to get married during MBBS course period.
  8. Candidate should be medically fit, as per the standards of Government of India, Ministry of Defence.

AFMC 2019 Application Form

In order to apply for AFMC 2019 and appear for NEET 2019 examination, the candidate has to fill in the application form available on the official website of AFMC i.e.  The candidate must fill the form completely and take its printout. Incomplete forms or false information will be subjected to cancellation of candidature at any step of admission procedure. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 250/- from State Bank of India through the challan mode. It should be noted that payment will be made for fresh registration against NEET 2019 roll number.

AFMC Admit Card 2019

The admit card for NEET 2019 exam will be issued within a week before the exam. The candidate will have to log in to the official website of AFMC 2019 i.e. and log in with their id and download the admit card. The candidate must take the printout of the admit card and must carry it at the time of examination. Unable to provide with a admit card, may lead to prohibition from sitting for an exam. The admit card must be retained throughout the admission procedure by the candidate.

AFMC 2019 Answer Key

The answer key is the solution key to the question paper of the AFMC 2019 examination. This answer key is made available on the official website of AFMC 2019 entrance. Students can download the answer key as per their course code. They will have to put their roll no in order to get the answer key. With the help of the answer key, the students get a clear idea about their expected score in the entrance examination and hence they can prepare accordingly for further rounds or keep alternate options.

The result cut-offs are the nothing but the minimum marks required to get admission in AFMC and the candidate must score above the cut-off value. AFMC takes NEET scores for selection but based on its cut-off set according to expected merit. Thus the candidate with NEET 2019 score more than the AFMC 2019 cut-off will get a direct entry for Counselling procedure.

AFMC Counselling Procedure 2019

The candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit list and only these candidates will be called for the personal interview round. For the interview, a candidate has to carry their NEET admit card and score card, 10th and 12th standard marks sheets, Original Certificate of NCC, photocopy of AFMC 2019 application form and other required documents. The candidates will be further shortlisted based on their interview and only these candidates will be granted admission in AFMC. Thus a candidate will have to work hard to come in the merit list and crack interview too.
