NERIST is the exam conducted by the North Eastern States of India. NERIST is held as an entrance test in various courses like Diploma or Degree Courses. NERIST 2019 is an exam conducted by the North Eastern Institute of Science and Technology hence called NERIST or NEE. The exam is a license to the various certificate, diploma and degree courses at various institutes under NERIST 2019 and located in the North-Eastern states of India.
The North Eastern Institute of Science and Technology was established in March 1984 and is a deemed University under MHRD, Govt of India, situated in Nirjuli-791109, Arunachal Pradesh. The NEE is conducted at three levels i.e. NEE-1, NEE-2, NEE-3. NEE-1 is for the certification courses, NEE-2 is for diploma courses and NEE-3 is for admission to the B.Tech courses. All of the three examinations are conducted on three different days. Every year, aspiring candidates appear for this examination and they have to work really hard to excel in this examination.
The NERIST exam consists of objective based multi-choice questions. For each wrong answer, 25% of deduction of the marks carried by that question. There is no deduction in marks for the un-attempted questions. The syllabus is based on 12th standard portion.
NERIST 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are different for all the three levels of examination and are as follows:
- A candidate must have passed a 10th or equivalent examination from being eligible to apply for NEE 1.
- A candidate must have passed 10th and 12th standard i.e. 10+2 in relevant disciplines in order to be eligible to apply for NEE 2.
- A candidate must have completed a 3 years Diploma in relevant trades for being eligible to apply for NEE 3.
- A candidate’s maximum age limit for NEE-1 is 19 years max.
- A candidate’s maximum age limit for NEE-2 is 23 years max.
- A candidate’s maximum age limit for NEE-3is 40 years max.
NERIST 2019 Application form
In order to fill the application form online, the candidate must log in to the official website of NERIST 2019 www.neeonline.ac.in. The application form must be completely filled as per the instructions were given. Incomplete forms are not considered and are liable to rejection. After successful filling of the form, a registration confirmation page will be generated individually for candidates with a unique registration number. The candidate has to preserve this number at the time of downloading and printing of the admit card.
The candidate can apply for more than one NERIST exam if eligible. He/she will have to fill forms of both the NERIST exams separately. The NERIST exam fee can either be paid online using credit card/debit card or net banking, or the candidate can opt for offline payment in which a challan is issued and has to be deposited in the nearest branch of Axis Bank. The challan details have to be filled during the final submission of NEE 2019 form.

NERIST Admit Card 2019
The NERIST admit card is available on the official website at least a week before the examination. The candidate has to put his or her registration number and download the NERIST admit card and print it. The candidate has to carry the NERIST admit card during examination as failing to do so will prohibit from attending the examination. The candidate also has to retain the NERIST Admit card during the whole process of admission and provide it when and where required.
NERIST 2019 Answer Key
The examination board makes available the NERIST answer key of the examination within a few days of the conduction of the examination. The students can log in to the official website of NERIST 2019 and download the NERIST answer key. The NERIST answer key will help the students to get a clear scenario of their expected score and standing in terms of admission.
NERIST Result 2019
After the declaration of the NERIST results, a merit list of high scorers is created. The minimum score required to get admission is set and this is nothing but the resulting cut-off. The candidate must have his score above the NERIST cut-off in order to be eligible for admission. The short-listed candidates only are called for the further process of NERIST counseling.
NERIST 2019 Counselling
Counseling or the admission procedure will commence tentatively from July 2019 or in the 1st or 2nd week of July 2019. The candidates who have been selected as well as the wait-listed candidates will be issued with intimation letters in the 1st or 2ndweek of June 2019 for counseling procedure. As per the day allotted, the candidate has to be present in person at the respective counseling center with the NERIST call letter.
The candidates must also produce all the relevant original documents. They will have to submit the attested copies of all the relevant documents accompanied by the two original anti-ragging affidavits at the time of NERIST counseling. The candidates will have to fill in their choice codes of colleges. After evaluation, seats are allotted to deserving candidates. They have to report on time to claim their seat and further co-operate with the NERIST admission process.
