ANU PGCET is a post graduate mutual entrance exam conducted every year by Acharya Nagarjuna University. The list of colleges covers all the subsidiaries of ANU and the colleges with which ANU is affiliated with.


Thousands of aspirants put their talent and knowledge through its paces in order to secure a seat in one of the top colleges in India, which offers the students a variety of courses which include M.A, P.P.Ed, M.Ed, and MBA, NB and so on.

The ANU PGCET entrance exam will consist a total of 100 questions and students will have to choose the best option, according to them, out of the lot, i.e. in the MCQ form. Students have to mark the correct answer in  OMR sheets which will be provided to them in the examination hall. The ANU PGCET exam will last for a duration of 90 minutes. Each correct answer will fetch students 1 mark, the details on negative marking are not disclosed yet.

ANU PGCET Eligibility Criteria

The students shall confirm their ANU PGCET Eligibility before applying, by confirming these points:If

If a candidate is applying for M.SC (Aquaculture course): The applicants must complete B.Sc. with any one of the following subjects mentioned in the detailed marks certificate:

  • Zoology Fisheries
  • Science-Fishery Aquaculture
  • Fisheries and Industrial Fish Life Sciences (Anyone subject)

If a candidate is applying for M.Ed: The candidates must have attained B.Ed degree.

If a candidate is applying for MBA: The candidate must have passed +2 with a subject as optional or any of its equivalents such as Polytechnic (Diploma) or ITI (2 years).

If the candidate is applying for M.Com: The candidate should be a graduate in B.Com.

How to Apply ANU PGCET 2019

The candidates who are willing to apply for the ANU PGCET exam must go to the official website i.e. or. He/she must fill in all the necessary details like name, date of birth and must carefully re-check the details after filling out as for any mistake he/she shall be deemed liable.

A passport sized photograph is to be uploaded and form is to be submitted, then via online banking, a sum of Rs.500 is to be paid. 3-5 printouts are to be taken and sent via mail to the concerned, address to whom it is to be sent will be mentioned on the ANU PGCET official website.

ANU PGCET 2019 Admit Card

The admit cards or so called TAT cards will be made available to the students whose forms are verified and along with the fees is submitted. The ANU PGCET Admit cards can be downloaded from the official website, once made available, and the candidate should check for any errors and get it corrected, if possible. He/she should take 5-6 copies of the form if the main one gets lost or is required by the candidate for future reference, also this can be asked at any point of time during the registration process.

This ANU PGCET Admit card is to be carried by the examinee to the examination hall, as it is to be checked by the invigilator and acts as an identity card that the person was eligible and has completed all the mandatory steps for being able to sit in the examination. If he/she fails to do so, will not be allowed to enter the examination hall and give the examination and he/she will be held responsible for this act.

ANU PGCET 2019 Answer Key

It is the guide through all the questions which were asked to the candidates at the time of examination. The former is published on the website after the examination has been successfully completed. The students will be able to download the ANU PGCET answer key by logging into their account using the credentials which they were given during the time of application.

The ANU PGCET answer key will be available for all sets, and the students can practice previous year’s question papers to get an idea of what the exam will be like and can evaluate their performance and work on their relatively weaker areas. Students who are not registered cannot view the ANU PGCET answer key.

ANU PGCET counselling 2019

Counseling will be held after the ANU PGCET 2019 result, that will be announced after papers are checked, on the official website; and the native will be held on merit basis. The students who score below cut-off aggregate will be rejected and the students above cut-off percentage will be called to a counseling center. The students must bring the fees for the course and admission, which in turn will be mentioned on the official website.
